Booking a class with Mind & Motion
Classes and 1-2-1’s can be booked via our website, the Mindbody app/ website or via the Mind & Motion app.
All classes, whether booking a single class, or a block of classes, must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable/transferable.
If a class/classes are booked using an introductory offer or promotional code, these are single use only.
Cancelling a Mind & Motion class
We understand that there may be occasions where you will not be able to attend a class due to unforeseen circumstances.
We also have to ensure that we operate a fair cancellation policy for visitors/ members.
For drop in classes and block booking classes that are cancelled with more than 12 hours’ notice of the class start time, your credits will be returned to your account.
In the event that a class is cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice of the class start time, your credits will be deemed as used and will not be credited.
For members, should we notice that you reguarly book classes and fail to attend without prior cancellation then we reserve the right to terminate your membership.
Arriving to class
Please arrive to class 5-10 minutes prior to the start time. This allows adequate time to change if necessary, advise instructors of any injuries or pre/post natal concerns and for classes to start promptly.
Due to health and safety reasons and for the general flow of a class, all classes start promptly and late comers will not be permitted entry.
Instructors
Mind & Motion have a very diverse team of instructors whom are all unique in their style of teaching and we know that often visitors or members of the studio book classes based on who is teaching.
On occasion there maybe slight changes to the schedule due to unforseen circumstances or to accomodate annual leave etc. In these circumstances, we will do our best to inform class attendees via our website or social media platform.
Health and Safety
Our studio has a strict ‘no shoes’ policy in an effort to give you the best space to feel comfortable in and for you to enjoy your sessions. For this reason we have made grips socks compulsory in our studio. These are available to purchase online and collect in the studio or to buy in person in the studio.
You will also find rubber sliders at reception, these are provided by us for your use whilst in the studio, please feel free to use these should you need to use the bathroom or just for comfort.
In order to ensure that the studios standards of hygiene are upheld we ask that you clean your Reformer Pilates equipment after your class using the cleaning products provided.
Taking Part in our classes
Whilst our instructors will always check for any medical conditions or injuries at the beginning of each class, we rely on you to provide accurate information. Should any medical information change during the time you attend classes with us, you are required to inform us immediately.
If you are pregnant please let your instructor know before the start of your session and they will discuss the adjustments with you. In order to ensure your safety, we cannot permit you to attend a class if you are pregnant and have not previously practised Reformer Pilates.
Mind & Motion instructors are highly skilled and qualified in teaching Reformer Pilates. Should an instructor use their discretion to determined that you are not fit to participate in a class, they reserve the right to restrict your participation or politely refuse in your taking part altogether.
If you have practised Reformer Pilates before, then you are able to join our classes subject to any medical clearance and the necessary adjustments being made. Please let your instructor know before the start of your session of your pregnancy and they will discuss the adjustments with you. In order to ensure your safety, we cannot permit you to attend a class if you are pregnant and have not previously practised Reformer Pilates.
